Summer Seminar at USNA

This week I was at the Naval Academy for Summer Seminar and it was such a great way to start off the summer. Every day was packed full of many different activities and classes, we were always busy. I was in Echo company 1^st platoon 4^th squad, and I would say I had the best squad as well as squad leaders. I gained so much knowledge about the Naval Academy, the academics (mostly math and science based), the sports (they have so many! But sailing is #1 for me), and the overall environment (challenging but incredibly motivating). I also learned that everyone at the academy has a ‘why’ (A reason why they chose the Naval Academy) and it made me think about my own why… If you are ever thinking about applying to the Naval Academy, I would highly recommend going to Summer Seminar. And of course the most important thing I learned was GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!
