December Laser Clinic

The last week of December 2023 Coach Fatih Özmen (former Olympic Coach of Türkiye) of Lakewood Yacht Club (https://www.lakewoodyachtclub.com/) organized a 4 day laser clinic. 8 lasers in the 4.7 and radial class trained hard for four straight days. Great fun to train with the best in varying conditions. From no wind to “blowing your socks off” conditions, we learned a lot during those four days. Race tactics, pin rounding and getting the best starts possible were practiced. Even my parents showed up on their boat to have a look at what we were doing all those the time.
